**IMPORTANT:** This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of and incorporated into our [Terms of Service](/terms). Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund. You are solely responsible for all content created, generated, or published using Postmagiq.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy defines the types of content and activities that are prohibited when using Postmagiq ("Service"). This policy exists to protect our users, our platform, third-party platforms, and the broader community from harmful, illegal, or abusive behavior.
2. Your Responsibilities
When using Postmagiq, you are solely responsible for:
- All content you create, generate, upload, store, transmit, or publish
- Reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use or publication
- Ensuring all content complies with applicable laws and regulations
- Ensuring content complies with third-party platform terms (LinkedIn, X, Threads, etc.)
- Obtaining necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for all content
- The consequences of publishing content through the Service
3. Prohibited Content
You may NOT use Postmagiq to create, generate, store, transmit, or publish any of the following:
3.1 Illegal Content
- Content that violates any local, state, national, or international law or regulation
- Content that promotes, facilitates, or instructs illegal activities
- Content related to illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
- Content promoting illegal weapons, explosives, or dangerous materials
- Content facilitating money laundering, tax evasion, or financial crimes
- Content that violates export control laws or sanctions
3.2 Harmful and Violent Content
- Content that threatens, incites, or glorifies violence against individuals or groups
- Content promoting terrorism, extremism, or radicalization
- Content containing graphic violence, gore, or disturbing imagery
- Content promoting or glorifying self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Content that harasses, bullies, intimidates, or stalks individuals
- Content intended to cause emotional distress or psychological harm
3.3 Hate Speech and Discrimination
- Content promoting hatred, discrimination, or violence based on protected characteristics including:
- Race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Religion or religious beliefs
- Gender, gender identity, or gender expression
- Sexual orientation
- Age
- Disability or medical condition
- Veteran status
- Immigration or citizenship status
- Slurs, epithets, or dehumanizing language targeting protected groups
- Content promoting supremacist ideologies
3.4 Sexual and Exploitative Content
- Pornography or sexually explicit content
- Content sexualizing minors in any way (zero tolerance)
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - will be reported to authorities
- Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn")
- Sexual harassment or solicitation
- Content promoting human trafficking or sexual exploitation
- Content promoting prostitution or escort services
3.5 Fraudulent and Deceptive Content
- Phishing content designed to steal credentials or personal information
- Scams, fraud schemes, or pyramid/Ponzi schemes
- Fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements
- Misleading claims about products, services, or qualifications
- Deceptive business practices or bait-and-switch schemes
- Fake news intentionally created to deceive
- Manipulated media ("deepfakes") without clear disclosure
3.6 Intellectual Property Infringement
- Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets
- Pirated content, including movies, music, software, books, or games
- Content promoting or facilitating piracy or circumvention of DRM
- Counterfeit goods or services
- Unauthorized use of brand names, logos, or trademarks
- Plagiarized content presented as original work
3.7 Privacy Violations
- Personal information of others without their consent (doxxing)
- Private communications shared without authorization
- Confidential business information or trade secrets
- Medical, financial, or other sensitive personal data
- Content that facilitates identity theft
3.8 Impersonation and Misrepresentation
- Impersonating real individuals, companies, or organizations
- Creating fake accounts or personas to deceive others
- Falsely claiming affiliation, endorsement, or credentials
- Pretending AI-generated content is human-created when required to disclose
- Sock puppeting or astroturfing campaigns
3.9 Misinformation and Disinformation
- Deliberately false information about public health or safety
- Election misinformation or content undermining democratic processes
- False claims about emergencies, disasters, or crises
- Conspiracy theories presented as fact that could cause harm
- Fabricated quotes, statistics, studies, or citations
3.10 Spam and Manipulation
- Unsolicited bulk messages or commercial spam
- Coordinated inauthentic behavior or platform manipulation
- Artificial engagement (fake likes, follows, comments)
- Content designed solely to game algorithms or SEO
- Repetitive or duplicate content posted at scale
- Automated posting without proper disclosure
3.11 Regulated Industries (Without Proper Licensing)
- Medical, legal, or financial advice without proper licensing and disclaimers
- Promotion of gambling, betting, or casino services where prohibited
- Promotion of alcohol, tobacco, or cannabis where prohibited or without age restrictions
- Investment advice or securities recommendations without proper registration
- Insurance, loan, or credit services without proper licensing
4. Prohibited Activities
In addition to prohibited content, you may NOT:
4.1 Platform Abuse
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, usage limits, or cost controls
- Use the Service in ways that could disable, overburden, or impair it
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
- Interfere with other users' access to or use of the Service
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities (report them instead)
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without authorization
4.2 Technical Abuse
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code
- Creating derivative works or competing services based on our technology
- Using the Service to train competing AI models
- Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempting to decrypt encrypted data without authorization
4.3 Social Media Platform Violations
- Violating the terms of service of any connected platform (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Threads, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, or any other platform)
- Engaging in behavior that could get your social media accounts suspended
- Using the Service to evade platform bans or restrictions
- Creating content specifically designed to harm platform integrity
4.4 Commercial Restrictions
- Reselling or sublicensing access without authorization
- Using the Service for purposes that compete with Postmagiq
- Sharing account credentials with unauthorized third parties
- Operating multiple accounts to circumvent limits
5. AI Content Responsibilities
**CRITICAL:** AI-generated content requires human oversight. You are responsible for reviewing all AI output before use or publication.
- Always review AI-generated content for accuracy before publishing
- Verify all facts, quotes, statistics, and citations independently
- Do not publish AI-generated content that you know to be false
- Disclose AI involvement where required by law or platform policies
- Do not use AI to generate prohibited content even if the AI produces it
- Report any concerning AI outputs to us for review
6. Enforcement
6.1 How We Detect Violations
- Automated content moderation systems
- User reports and community flagging
- Proactive monitoring of suspicious activity
- Platform partner notifications
- Law enforcement requests
6.2 Consequences of Violations
Depending on severity, violations may result in:
- **Warning:** First-time minor violations may receive a warning
- **Content Removal:** Violating content will be removed
- **Feature Restriction:** Temporary loss of certain features
- **Account Suspension:** Temporary account suspension
- **Account Termination:** Permanent account termination without refund
- **Legal Action:** Referral to law enforcement for illegal activity
6.3 Zero Tolerance
The following result in immediate termination and potential legal referral:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Terrorism-related content
- Credible threats of violence
- Human trafficking content
- Content facilitating serious crimes
7. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy:

- Include as much detail as possible (usernames, content, timestamps)
- We will investigate and take appropriate action
- You will not be penalized for good-faith reports
8. Appeals
If you believe your content was removed or account was actioned in error:

- Explain why you believe the action was incorrect
- We will review and respond within 10 business days
- Our decision on appeals is final
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Changes become effective when posted. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
